People may disagree - and that's completely fine - but the one problem I have with YouTubers joining is that if they just repost their YouTube stuff on Steemit, I don't think they're deserving of big rewards.
I think whales should focus on Steemit-exclusive content since that's the stuff that will get people joining Steemit.
Reposting is just a money grab, and likely won't result in people checking out Steemit specifically for that content.
There are people contributing to Steemit exclusively, and I just personally feel that they are more valuable in the grand scheme of things.
I agree. I don't mind so much if it's new content going up on both but posting old videos to Dtube is a little pointless. Also youtubers should make their audience aware of dtube and ask them to come over and support them here, otherwise the whole thing is a bit pointless and a money grab like you said.
I think that content type should be unlimited, but number of posts per day should be limited. When I create a post it can take a couple of days to develop. Posting just pictures with little or no other content seems too easy if they get the same steem value.
