Last night I had the opportunely to witness an incredible live show in Halifax Nova Scotia. For the last two years I have had the opportunely to attend the Royal International Nova Scotia Tatto. http://www.nstattoo.ca/
It was 3 hours of military bands, signing acts, gymnasts, and comedians from around the world, that descend here at the end of June for a week all performing together, simply amazing. This year we had the Scotch College Pipe Band from as far away as Australia. From Russia we had The Kalutskih Brothers from Moscow are acrobats and Guinness World Record holders. From Great Britain the IMPS Motorcycle Display Team which is a team of talented youngsters with moter bikes, they were based out of London. From Germany there was a unique percussion group that used garbage as their instruments, there were known as the Groove Onkels.
From my country of Canada we had the Tattoo Highland Dancers, Massed Pipes & Drums, Fanfare Trumpets, and the Canadian Cadets musicians.
The popular RCMP National Ceremonial Troop with a full drill unit, and the Canadian Armed Forces represented by the Stadacona Band of the Royal Canadian Navy, the National Band of the Naval Reserve, the 5 Canadian Division Band, and the Royal Canadian Navy Enhanced Boarding Party.
We were also given an opportunity to listing to the Calgary Fiddlers. http://www.calgaryfiddlers.com/
Here is a youtube to last years final event, this youtuber had a better vantage point than my videos but its the last 7 min of the show/act and you can get an idea of the energy you feel when all the band is performing. Go to the 1 min mark
