Phew.....you didn't let me down, I was afraid for a few moments that you had gone all hippy and new age and decided to keep the placenta ;-)
I can understand why people may want to keep it, I've heard of the placenta smoothies and the placenta dinner parties and even the framed and loveheart shaped placenta's but to be honest, I have never met anyone that has actually saved the placenta, been a while, but it gives me the dry boak thinking about it!
It gives me the heebies. People can be mental. As far as I am concerned they can throw it in the bin. I wonder if there is a heaving black market for them?
