RE: FINANCIAL FREEDOM: How We Created A Location Independent Business and Are Living Our Dream (Part I)

in #life8 years ago

Thanks for sharing Amy. Its so good to hear of an honest and candid account of what it is to be a digital nomad. I guess I'm doing the same but still at the stage where it is a lot of hard work and no play, and it can really get you down so it's nice to know that I'm not alone and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Good luck @seagreensage ! Still hard work here too, but I'm so loving the lifestyle. In the beginning, I missed my sciency colleagues but now I'm so happy to work from home. So much more efficient! If you ever need help or guidance (or just a pep talk, you need those too) you know where to find me. What is the niche you picked?

Hi again Amy, I'm still finding my way around steemit so did not see your reply. Thank you, I appreciate that. I am a certified hypnotherapist, but had to make the choice between settling in one place and building a client base or taking the internet route and being free to travel and live wherever I want. I decided to go the route I've always dreamed of - so I created Inner Journey, an online business selling meditation and hypnosis recordings. It's been a lot of hard work getting it set up and started, and there seems to be more work put in that reward received which can be demotivating. I truly believe in what I do and why I do it, so hopefully - fingers crossed my dreams DO come true!!

The best part of working this way is that one gets to choose what time to start and end working and nobody cares if you arrive at your laptop in your nightwear :D
