Once you realize who you're and what you want from your life, you must sign a contract, with yourself...Since, you're your own boss and your own employee, and you must decide and work for yourself, lead and be led by yourself.
You're the only one that knows everything about you, your abilities, your skills, your knowledge and wisdom, the things that make you happy or sad. And don't forget that you are the only one that knows what you truly want...And if you think that dreams for a better world and a better self are good enough, then imagine making them a reality... Wouldn't that be even more awesome?
You can't always feel happy, but you can always be grateful, which is something you can create by positive thinking, for something you have now, and that is your own life. You could, also, be grateful if you have people that love you and honestly care about you, your basic needs covered, health, morals and an active behavior towards your dreams. But, even if you don't have everything that was just mentioned, that doesn't mean you are useless or that you cannot help someone, because you're still alive and no matter your level of influence, if used right, you can change lives!
Everyone faces troubles, but not everyone lives the same life of regret. I know that's the minority of people that I'm mentioning - that have expanded to a higher version of themselves as they face their problems- but those are the people we should look at, because they came to a realization that is really important for personal growth, and change: "You are not a problem, you have a problem". Which means that whatever it is that makes you feel you're not good enough, must be either solvable or not worth your time.
I'm not trying to blame you, I know there are not good or bad people, just wrong or right behavior. I just want you to understand and believe that you have a choice, that you can become who you want to be, and that you'll find what you're looking for, by going through the actual process of thinking about it and doing what is necessary to achieve it, not just dream of it. Plus, don't glamorize what you'll get back, but what you'll give to the world in order to contribute to something bigger than yourself.
Finally, don't listen to anyone that doubts you! You've already had enough opinions from other people. If you feel like the people surrounding you just drag you along with them in their life of misery, you must either try to find better people to talk to, or if you can't, just ignore them, and no matter what, focus on your own business! That way you'll be happier and more confident. The most important part is that even if you don't get what you want, you'll get to live an adventurous life. That means that it's a win-win situation, don't you think? Go ahead and give it a try! Say "why not?”, instead of "why?"
