Depression Is Not The End Of The World!

Have you ever felt depressed and alone?

If you have or if you do right now, let me tell you something.

You can make it through this.

I think one of the top reasons depression is so prevalent today is because people can’t seem to find their purpose.

I think everyone has their own meaning of life, but not enough people are able to find what their purpose is.

If you don't pick a purpose, you're lost. You're rudderless. You're compass-less. You have no GPS. Every day, it gets harder, and harder, but if you can find a purpose, one door opens, then another and another.

I think at every point in life, we have to ask our self:

"Why are we here? What's the purpose?"

It's easy to get caught up. Many people have lent theories to why we're here, whether it'd be religion, helping others, love. At the end of the day, I think if you can find what your purpose is, make that the reason you live.

People who at the end of their life can look and say, "It mattered that I was here," are the most successful I think. It doesn’t matter how big or little that impact is, it’s just about fulfilling it to your best ability.

If you're lost, sad, or depressed, I will tell you.

There has to be a way out. There has to be.

No matter how bad things may seem, I promise you, you can fix them.

Every problem has a solution.

There’s always a way to move on from anything, but too many times that purpose gets suppressed. It gets suppressed by society, suppressed by the educational system, suppressed by our careers, maybe crappy relationships with the wrong people, locked down into a nothingness. But, what happens when you start to fix those things?

You just have to have faith. Faith is believing in what you don't yet see. You can’t expect immediate results. You have to build, and it’s going to take a while, but you’ll rise above the ashes.

Have you ever heard the term “Out of the ashes rise”?

It means that if you can hold out through the tough times, when things aren’t going your way or things fall apart, things will get better.

The hard times will shape you and make you better. You just have to keep pushing.
Stay Blessed,
