10 Best Educated States In The United States @senseicat

in #life7 years ago

I read an interesting article on CNBC regarding the 10 most and least educated states in America.

By nature, I am a positive thinker so I am posting the top 10 best educated states in the U.S.A.

15 different metrics were used to rate each state.

A bachelor's degree can earn $2.8 million dollars in the course of a lifetime per one statistic.

Another statistic cited is that a college degree can increase your life expectancy by a decade.

How do you believe that your college degree has benefitted you financially? @senseicat

Well, it's way different in European Union when it comes down to getting a degree and getting a well paid job. In USA you have to pay for your education and thanks to that there isn't many people with a diploma. While in many EU countries university education is free and because of that there are too many graduates and even when they finished with high degrees it's really hard for them to find a well paid job.

Thank you for sharing that information with our community. It seems like the world would benefit from a middle ground. Perhaps, free college and graduate education for those with maintain higher grades?

Yes, that would be a good idea. I see to many people in my country abusing the system of free education.

I like the vibe :)

Awesome, thank you!

Yes and sometimes you get really lucky and find an educator who is truly passionate about imparting knowledge and has a great connection with students.

College prepares you for bereaucracy that life provides. Actually learning a skill comes from on the job experience.

Personally, I think that college expands your knowledge and you get to study more of the specialty that you are interested in than the remedial requirements in prior years.

wow, very good information, i really like post @senseicat.

Yes we are actually very fortunate. There is sadly tho, alot of poverty here too.
