Yesterday, I experienced the AH HA moment and I registered as good luck to me. I had spent my day over scheduled trying to accomplished tasks, adding tasks along the way, with definite timelines such as getting to the airport which tends to get my heart rate up. You can imagine on the inside, I felt frantic while attempting to present a calm demeanor for the sake of the rest of the world. I chalked it up to it being "one of those days" that all of us are familiar with and then it occurred to me that there is an answer.
The answer is to be present in the moment regardless of what is happening. Sometimes, I find that everyone is rushing trying their best to meet their commitments that yes, they even give up sleep to accomplish their monumental never-ending to do lists.
As a mom, I realized that the most important time is the immediate moment that we have with our beloved children. Yes, the precious moments of driving them to school, sports, award ceremonies, and playdates with friends
There is something really special about watching my son practice for sports and watching him at games. It makes me feel energized regardless of how my day went. I realized that when I am watching him and his team mates play sports, I am completely present and enjoying every single moment from beginning to end. This is the pure joy of parenthood and the connection as my son and I exchange glances that only each other can interpret.
Perhaps, it is okay to let go of the wonder woman expectations and just be us, just be real, just be in the moment with our loved ones. Maybe, it is okay to have some ME time, time to get our hair done, a massage once in a while, time for yoga, bath, and try a new hobby. Any maybe, our kids prefer us to be in the moment and play a game, read a book, and play chase. We can embetter our lives, by changing our perspective, and counting our blessings. I heard someone wise say that the present is a gift and that is why it is called a present.
Truly enjoy every moment @senseicat

Truly ,we should maximize our present because it is not our strenght that brought it to our life.just like the way you said that our present is a gift giving by God .thanks for making us to come into that realization for us to utilize every moment in our life.
I believe that we are here to enjoy our lives and not be measured by the amount of tasks that we accomplish.
wonderfull publication @senseicat cause in the end you always receive more than you give from your childand and truly be near him is a gift. Thank for sharing.
