I just had the most enjoyable weekend getaway with my best friend of 25 years and everyone left feeling so rejuvenated and refreshed from our mini break.
First, there were no husbands, kids, or pets allowed so all our routine worries were left behind. We spent precious time talking, sharing, eating, and laughing into the wee hours.
As women, we often spend so much energy focused on our loved ones and it is equally important to carve out some "me time" with our closest friends.
All of us had a great experience that we decided that we would make it a tradition. In the past, my BFF and I get together a couple of times a year and have a blast. Now, we decided to include another friend into our vacation circle.
Everyone felt closer and more connected to each other as well as our families.
Best friends are consider part of a family, it's very fulfilling to have a BF TIME, because they are hard to find.
They say at our age not only should you be working no more than 3 days a week...but at least twice a week we should be getting together with our close friends and family for a night of bonding and laughing.... extremely healthy at a very high level
