Make Someone's Heart Soar @senseicat

On Saturday, it was filled with lots of unexpected changes in our schedule and less than pleasant experiences. At the end of the long day, I saw a homeless man with a sign "anything helps" and this always impacts my heart greatly. All I had was a banana so I apologized as I handed it to him along the highway entrance. He smiled and said, "thanks" very quietly.

This morning, I received an email from my son's teacher and she said that she enjoyed meeting me at parent teacher conference and how much she appreciated my support in providing extra supplies. It literally made my heart soar and that always makes me feel like I would like to do more!

I realized today that it is disheartening to hear so much complaining in general and it is absolutely contagious. One person begins and then another follows. I decided that I will only utter words of kindness, encouragement, and appreciation.

I had to call my cell phone provider (this is challenging to my practice) so I calmly explained the ongoing issue and made an extra effort to make the conversation more enjoyable for the customer service rep including telling him to have a great day. The monumental issue was short and effortless and the result was exactly as I had requested.

I liked and loved these beautiful and short story and word. Greetings.
Discord I have a new group just to help us, come and join us.

Well this hits too close to home. I think I know how you felt, I also often feel like I could have done more once the situation has already passed.
But trying to righten your mistakes is, I think, much more important than trying to never make one. Because we are all humans and we all sometimes do things we are not proud off. But trying to be a better person next time already makes you a great person; not many people would bother or even understand that.

Very encouraging to hear.

I am terrible at helping homeless folks. It makes me so nervous seeing them out on the street. Good on you for helping them and for providing supplies for your son's classroom!

I have been working on this a lot lately. It is so easy to get caught up in negativity. I have come to realize that if you give kindness you are more than likely to receive kindness. This is a concept that I wish was more readily used in our society. Thank you for sharing ♥

There is power in positivity. It is contagious
