Magnificent photograph. The St. Michaels Mount is an island and an impregnable monastic city in Cornwall (England). Local, the name of the island is Karrek Loos yn Koos, which translates as "Gray Rock in the Forest." Perhaps this is an echo of the times when Mount Bay Bay was not yet flooded. About the lands absorbed by the sea, tells and the root legend of Lyoness, the ancient kingdom, supposedly stretching from Penwith to the archipelago of Scilly.
