This solidifies the philosophy of why this place has to exist now and why people have to adopt that philosophy after being habitualized by social media platforms that all feed on user content while giving nothing of value to the members, thereby making user input exponentially valueless over time. The bar has been lowered to astonishingly low levels while coincidentally using up people's free time that could be used doing something much more productive and important. For most, this concept has to be repeated over and over again to remind them of what is really going on, and then Steemit begins to makes sense to those individuals who otherwise would simply be feeding in to the personal data mining machines.
Excuse me if this seems a bit long, but I see people stuck in their data mining traps because they have been trained to seek dopamine and seratonin rewards from "people who like this", but staring blankly with no incentive to contribute to Steemit even though they have so much to add to the blockchain.
