I think a global pandemic seems most likely. It seems like the superbugs continue to get stronger as more antibiotics are created and the bugs get more immune.

neither, but natural viruses shouldn't outright kill their hosts too fast, as they don't benefit from that
human made viruses on the other hand...
Sounds like we need another vaccine to help us out...
