For all the morning I tried to connect to the site, but every time was impossible and so I used my time working on my artworks, walking out for a bit and taking a coffe with my parents who came in the city for their shopping. It's was a busy morning and I used a part of the time also to take some pics around ^_^
Like the touch of light that I watched on the sky, after some hours i saw that steemit worked again and so here I am, but...

At the moment, my photo profile is disappeared! Instead of my face there is a simple icon. I don't know if it's the same for you, but maybe they're working to add some new graphic on the pages and I think soon we'll see something new on the site ^_^

I could barely access the site earlier, but it's better now. Not getting all the images. I expect it's being worked on. We can always use Busy or eSteem or others
After I published this post I watched my photo profile again ;) This morning I tried to use busy.org too, but nothing. Now seems all ok, fortunately ^_^
It all seems good now, but a few pictures are still not showing properly. Hope it wasn't a Ddos or anything bad.
Your photgraph reminds me of my memories of Venice, but the houses were almost touching each other at times there.
Venice is really beautiful (even if a bit expensive ^^). My city (Pistoia) is a small city so we have some houses that touch each others in the center of the city, but also some houses that have a garden all around. I'm lucky because even if my house touch other at right and left, I have a backyard that touch just some green gardens, so it's like to have the city in front and the country in the back ^^
My wife is hassling me to go back because we didn't go on a gondola first time around. She also wants to visit Tuscany due to the famed beauty of the countryside and so do I.
Is this houses 'touching each other' due to subsidence? I realise there' s problem in Pisa but always wandered about the rest of the tall houses.
No no, it's not due to subsidence like the tower of Pisa ^^ It's just because my poor English I wrote "touching each others" :P In the pics looks like the Pisa's tower just because the perspective of the photo, but they are perfectly straight. I thought you talk about we have many "clued" houses, like in a sequence (we call them "terratetto", I don't know the right term in english ^^)
I had to look that one up, "terratetto = single family house". Your English is very good, just a few odd words that are not quite correct at times :)
You have to know That steemit helps me to improve my english, but I have to improve it much more. After one year here I can easily read it, but I have some issues writing it. To speack in English is really a nightmare for me, when me and my hubby was at the Steemfest in Lisbon, I use him to translate everything :D

The weather is getting nice in italy, in portugal we are having a mix of sun and clouds.Silvia for the times you can't connect to steemit you can use : http://steemitstage.com/ , it's one of the first steemit platforms and enables you to post and view stuff even when the european nodes are having problems!
I'm using steemitstage just now, fortunately it works better. Now I'm curious to se if there will be some news on steemit ;)

Thought i was the only one affected by that, but it didn't bother me then cos i had busy as alternative which i used.
You profile photo is back up, i guess it didn't show earlier cos of network hitches.
