Sometimes it happens I talk with my cat like he's my little one. Yes, it happens and there's nothing strange. many nice old women do this, right?
Ok, I'm not so old, but old enough to d it without problems ^_^ I've always lived with a cat or a dog (for the most part of my life I had a cat AND a dog together with me) and I know a part of my love for them is because I need to satisfied my need to take care of someone. Have you never thought about how the altruism and the selfishness come together? I think often about it. Since I started to volunteer at some associations (in different fields of human issues) people older than me teached to me that it's always a "give and take" and there's nothing wrong.
In relationships between humans like in relationships between animals and humans it's the same: give and take.
So, now I'm taking care of my cat and he satisfied my need to take care of someone :P

Healthy cat , but people like me will never have a cat as a pet ,to me it looks like a tiger that can kill at anytime .
But love dogs .
