RE: What Do You See When You Look At The Future?

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Every person has his circle of influence be it positive or negative. The amount to which it can be negative or positive depends on the person who’s circle it is. More negative the person is more detrimental will be the effects on the people who fall within his sphere.

I came across a post this morning where the author compared the life with a straight line marked with negative and positive numbers on it just like the one we used to draw in our maths class during childhood. On steemit, we can call it Reputation. Here as well, we tend to get attracted more to people who have a better reputation score than us because it tells how much the person is invested in the system and has contributed bigger.

Core to this is one's feeling of becoming better tomorrow. Without desire, one can never improve his circle of influence and hence can never improve his life. For a fact today, that desire has become more self-centred and is the only cause of all the miseries in the world.

We need to develop empathy towards others as they are humans and are just like us. Moreover, history has proven itself time and again that no one has ever become successful alone and has only achieved it by lifting others. The law of abundance also states the same.

To receive anything in abundance, first, we need to give in plenty.

The problem is, no one has ever taught us the right way. Some has learnt the values themselves, and the right people could only explain few. We need more of people like them who understand this. We need a value system which shows us to become selfless instead of becoming selfish, and everything will change drastically.

Interesting points and well said!

Empathy is a must have quality in humans and is something that is in limited quantity these days. We need to be considerate of other people and their lives and that can be done by stepping into their shoes. Also I agree with you that to be abundant, we need to be able to give first too.

Thanks so much for reading and providing a thoughtful comment :)

You're welcome Saurav!
People like us are dedicated enough to change things for the good, but not everyone has the patience to listen and act together. That's where things break for the most part.
