Letting go in life, what does that mean? Does it mean you must forget what you had experienced? Or does it mean that you have to sell everything or give it away? Or does it mean that you must not be attached to people/objects or anything? But what ever you think, there is not one answer for that question. And there for i created this post to show what a Chinese Buddhist Master Sheng Yen, explains about why you should learn to let go in life.
So basically making a goal for a title or for money is not negative or wrong, because they are just tools, what you can use in your life. If you make a difference for others with the money or status you have, then there is nothing negative about that, and everything you give, will be returned in the future.
But if you want to make money to act selfish or going for the title, because you want to impress others with your fame, then that will be backfired at you on different ways. For instance people will look negative towards you or even try to steal from you, because they will see it like that you don't want to share your luck. And everyone is free to do what he wants, and nobody must share, but it's just a logical move to support others if they can't reach it on their own or don't have the luck to succeed. Just take a look at the world map here and see how many people live in poverty around the world.
So the point i want to make is this, of course if you have the chance or the ideas or the energy to reach for success, but you must not forget, going on a road without wisdom, is like walking in the dark without a light. That means if you're growing of success is going side by side with your teachings in wisdom, then you will make wise choices on the moment you reached your goal or get the money you are after.
Same thing count here on Steemit, you can go for "fuck the world" and spamm steemit with content and get all votes and rewards and keep all for yourself, but that will backfire big time sooner or later. Because if only one get success and a thousand others not, then that would be bad for Steemit totally. But if the full fleet on Steemit stand by side and share what they have and support each other, then Steemit will be bigger than facebook.
The same thing with family and friends, if you made success with your work or with your company, then you can enjoy life, eat in the best restaurants and go on vacation when you want, but if your family and friends have nothing then they can't never support you, when you fall down, or even worst they will turn against you. It would be a complete other story, if the whole family benefit of the success and everyone became strong. That saying learning to let go is seeking the right balance in life, what will benefit you and everyone else on this planet. Just think about it and let me know what your opinion is regard letting it go. Thanks for reading!
@sinzzer I like your article.
There is one thing i have always thought of, and that is if you accumulate lots of money for self contentedness then you are not successful. For me i feel that to be successful in life then we are to give a big positive impact in other people's lives and help them to also give a positive impact to others. Therefore if we support each other and give each other genuine and positive guidelines then we will make steemit a better place for all and it will grow than any other social media. With your article it is reach, spiritually, religiously, philosophically and also for the steemit community. I thank you
Thank you for your comment. And yes my friend, if someone accumulate lots of money for self contentedness then he is not successful, only for the blind or the stupid. I made this post because from personal experiences and from what i see here on Steemit. I notice made are going for gold and dont give a damn about other steemit members. Like the low reputation people are screwd, while at the end of the day, can steemit only be succesfull when the majority reach succes, and for that we need to support each other. Thanks for your comment again!
You are absolutely correct. I look forward to a day when people will have different mindset and try to support each other. Starting with here on steemit.
