Question ~
ANSWER ~
**This is due to thermal equilibrium both the food and the drink are trying to adjust to room temperature, so it isn't one necessarily being cold or warmer then the other but the temperature of the environment is what it's dependent on. So to clarify its the cold drink getting warmer and adjusting to the room temperature (70°F~ 21°C) and the sizzling hot food getting cooler and adjusting to the room temperature. **
