Darkness sucks! Isn't?
It terrifies just like the terror of death
Its victims walk and wallow
In a blind-alley confused and disoriented
Falling over and again.
Light is distinct, darkness is sickening
Joy and gladness bring
Healing to the mind
As the light cheers the unhappy
reviving the downcast
And so It brings life
indeed to the lifeless
All ye who have lights !
Must not hide it but turn it on
Light is beautiful
In its sheer illumination
It radiates an exuberant joy into every heart
We can but shine to display
our real beauty in someone else's mess
And someday, you would realize
How your light has amazingly
Made some lives extraordinary.
