The group Wi-Fi Alliance, which includes Apple, Microsoft and Qualcomm, spoke about the WPA3 security protocol, which will be released in 2018.
WPA3 will automatically include special protection for connections with weak passwords and make it almost impossible to pick up passwords by attackers using dictionary enumeration.
The new protocol will also use individual data encryption: all connections within the network and between devices will receive additional encryption.
In October 2017, researchers from Belgium discovered a vulnerability in the WPA2 W-Fi network encryption protocol. This vulnerability can affect all users of wireless networks, with its help, scammers can intercept any data that is not encrypted, including credit card numbers, photos, videos and messages.
