We live in a world where most people want to make you feel they are better than the other person in so many ways and being judgemental is one of the ways people achieve this.

I was scrolling through my facebook feeds some months back and I saw a post (can't really remember the caption of the post) talking about an interview where Adesua Etomi (Now Adesua Wellington) said she prefers to have a very quiet wedding instead of an elaborate one. It was a very interesting topic for people who wanted to make her feel bad since she just had her traditional wedding and of course, it was elaborate.
My point here is, 90 percent of us has; at one point or another said things that we could never do; even swore with our grandparents' grave about doing them but life happened and some people found themselves doing those things. I was on social media the other day and I saw a post that read "you know you are becoming matured when you:
1. Forgive easily, because you now know the value of having peace of mind
2. Indulge less in gossips because you enjoy your "me" time than indulging in unproductive activities
3. BECOME LESS JUDGMENTAL
I totally agree with the idea the post was passing across because, really, if we look at most people who tend to be judgemental, we would notice that most of these people have probably not found themselves or faced so many challenges that makes them tasks their emotions and mind objectively. You can only say you would never do a thing when you've found yourself in that situation. But if you have never, you should never say never.

You cannot claim to be better than a lady who got pregnant before marriage because you were lucky not to, you cannot claim to be better than that single mom when you have no idea of what she has been through, in short, you cannot claim to be better than anyone because you are not. You are just simply lucky.
You see one very funny thing with judgemental people; life always has its way of putting them through the test of what they've been judging to see if they can really stand by their words. At the end of the day, you see most of them fail by doing exactly what they've been judging.
In conclusion, I'll just urge us to be more encouraging than judgemental. Thanks for reading
That's true!! We need not be judgmental towards others because life isn't predictable
Yea, very true. Thanks for your input
