What is your car trouble?
I want to give back to Steemit community and provide some help on something that I know very well. Cars and how to fix them.
Please ask me about your car issue. Won't go into gear. Strange sounds. Don't know if you should take your car in to the shop. Just ask.
Send me the make, model, and year along with car symptoms.
Please remember to VOTE and ReSteem

2013 Hyundai Veloster base model.
I changed my blown headlight bulb, but the bulb goes out sporadically. I assume it is the connection because I can repeat the process and get it to work. Bulb does not look burned out. It is difficult to get my hand in place to tighten it. It went out again today, but now I haven't been able to get it to work again. I've read in some forums about "headlight fluid" in a Honda CRV. What is that? I've never heard of it.
Headlight fluid is a prank. Don't listen to them. The headlight bulbs can get insanely hot. For that reason, you need to make sure you don't get fingerprints on the glass part of the bulb. Other than that, it could be a sign of too much voltage. The alternator regulator may have malfunctioned. Have the battery voltage checked with a meter with the motor running and rev the engine. 13.5V to 14.5V is normal. If you see higher, your alternator regulator could be bad. Older alternators usually had the voltage regulator separate or on the outside of the alternator. Cars these days usually have alternators with the regulator built in. Check to see if the regulator can be replaced instead of the entire alternator. It will save money.
Hope this helps.
Thanks! You are offering a valuable service. Great idea for Steemit!
It turns out the bulb was burned out, but it was only about 6 months old.
2008 saturn outlook. Check engine light occasionally turns on and while its on it does not shift from first gear. Light comes on and off only stays on a few hours every few weeks
Thanks
Cars have an immense amount of sensors. A check engine light will alert the owner that the computer has identified a sensor that is out of tolerance. What you need to do is scan the codes. Sometimes Autozone or another parts store will use a code reader on your vehicle for free.
Old transmissions were all self contained mechanical control using hydraulics. Transmissions are now electronically controlled and require a computer to control. There could be many things causing the malfunction. Read the codes. It will likely tell you the sensor that is out of tolerance. Either the sensor is malfunctioning or the sensor is detecting a condition that is out of spec.
Great thanks
Hmmm its really awesom post @socky thankew for giving us nice information👍😊
