Revamping the Sonic Way - A one day Makeover & the importance to free up some space in your head...

The Back Story

Those of you that read my first post will know that my life has taken a change and that I've been readdressing many things about my existence, lifestyle & what matters to me. While trying to think and soul search, I realised that I just became agitated, restless, upset and admittedly a little worried about my path. Everything was erratic in my head,  my mind it seemed had become too blocked to even think, to even relax. I had to learn to relax and fast - sounds silly I know.

I grew up where relaxing and sitting quietly was forbidden and seen as a waste of time.  I was always given a list of chores or was found filling spare time helping my father with DIY or gardening.  This has been a blessing in many ways as I believe it's made me quite 'hands on' and results focused but now I realise it was also a curse as a tired body and unrested mind is not a good balance.

I had to learn to relax without Guilt...I had to clean up my Act.

I realised I needed to first create a space I was truly comfortable in, to declutter my mind I must declutter my space and importantly take action on the things that had bothered me for so long and not put off for another rainy day. My Space needed a makeover, this included calm soothing colours everywhere to allow peace for my eyes and in turn my mind.

This week has seen rains after many weeks of heatwave temperatures in London, so I have been forced inside to work. I felt happy in the space created, even though it was gloomy outside!

Best of all I haven't felt Guilt to take time for myself whenever I now sit in this room... its not all about work.

Still lots of work to do on my space & my personal journey and will keep sharing

I hope this has inspired you to make the changes you may have put off doing...the best bit it only took a day to give me hopefully years of happiness and tranquility the Sonic Way.

Until next Time

I agree with you. If I feel unstable inside, I always check the place arround me. Btw the fireplace looks much nicer now. Greetings, Silbart.
