Hi Guys, just wanted to share with you one story / accident about people in Berlin and would like to collect your opinions.
P.S. Sorry for being maybe super emotional, i just can't understand people living in Berlin.
P.S. please don't consider this post as something negative against other nationalities. This is just a pure example that happened to me.
So to start with: i am actually pregnant, run about 7,5 months. I am still going to the job regularly despite of this super hot weather. As you know S-bahn and U-bahn....well it is suuuper hot there, sometimes even hard to breath. Especially when you are driving back home after job, which is between 4:30 and 5:30 pm.
To be honest since my pregnancy became visible no one has ever offered me a place in a public transport: no women, no men. Today i was driving back with U-bahn (fortunately just two stops). And inside all the places have been occupied, moreover, you literally couldn't actually breath and immidiately was sweating. I had my backpack and laptop bag with me. NO ONE offered me a place. Especially men...they were just sitting, sweating and looking at me as if nothings happens.
I mean: guys, is it normal? is it normal behaviour of western or german or berlin or simply 21's century societies?
I am coming originally from St.Petersburg. And it is kind of moral-must-have rule for each men to stand up and offer place for a pregnant women. Even other women are doing this in Russia. No one even question is, it is kind of expectable.
And here...i was sooo dissapointed to be honest. But the funny thing is...the only person who has offered and even forces me to take a place was woman...and she was Russian :)
I mean I understand we live in a time when women and men have almost the same rights and blablabla...but c'mmon...it should be a non-discussable rule or whatever it is..i mean...at least for the men...
