egoism as the biggest advantage of ourselves

in #life7 years ago

the exact definition of egoism might be an ethical theory that treats self-interest as the foundation of morality. the questions that every individual must have in their lives are "who am I ? " , "why do I live?" and "where do I go?" the answers are depend on how matured we are and how much experience do we have , they are also depend on our religion views but even if we have not chosen the religion where do we feel ourselves calm and comfortable yet , we can still answer these questions easily . we live just to take the advantage of our lifetime , just to find ourselves , find out who we are truly . we have to do everything that makes us feel good , we have to prioritize our own happiness witch means that we will always be happy and live a greater , fuller life and that's also one of the definitions of egoism which is not as bad as most of people think it is .

altruist is the one who's disinterested and selfless concern for the well-being of others. in my point of view altruism is strongly connected with egoism. why do we want to make other people happy , just because we feel content . why do we love ? because love is exalted and we like being part of this, we like when someone thinks that we are perfect. why do we help people ? because we feel like we are kind or we are powerful. but it it does not mean that we are not ! we are ! we are kind , powerful even perfect . human is egoist .

the only desire of mine is to break the stereotype that egoism is intolerable and it can just bring depression to people. finally , I think that egoism is the best thing we have , we just have to learn how to use it !

Interesting take. I agree coming to grips with your own self has to come first before you can really help others. Yet, egotism can be bad if people only judge things by how it will benefit them and don't see the bigger picture. Maybe egomania or sociopathy are better words for what I'm thinking of. Either way, it's true you have to take care of #1 first.

yep, you're right )

I believe that the ego is truly one of our greatest gifts as a human. It makes us who we are as a person.
