What the future might hold for humanity
Digital Revolution - Where is it going?
In the coming years computer chips will cost less than a penny. Computers will be in our bodies, in our contact lenses, information will be instantly in front of us, which will change the education system. You will get medical advice for free almost as instantly as you have a problem, you will have an on hand lawyer in your ear in case of accident. Your automobile will be a robot. Your brain will be a computer, with memories able to be uploaded and downloaded, emotions feelings sensations. Emotions will be available on the internet to be downloaded and felt. Everything will be able to be communicated with, your animals your couch, your car, your house, your body, all digitally. All organs will be grown, livers, hearts, lungs, eyes.
Blockchain is a technology that can fully transform industry and traditional banks are on there way out. Quantum research is exploding, and A.I. is coming into the reality of every day life. We are on a path that is going to change everything around us as we know it in a short period of time. 3 - 5 years down the road everything will be data driven decision making in almost every area of life. Its a momentous shift for humanity. Cyber security is going to be a major thing very quickly as everything will be automated and in the system.
The future of education is quickly going to be replaced from what has been known for the past 400 years. There may be no need for classrooms or teachers as we see them today. Children will be educated easily from there homes with unlimited options and information available to the parents and children.
Everything will be available in shorter time than ever before, things will be delivered to our doors within minutes instead of days by drones. When we order a new pair of pants or shoes, they will show up at our door, along with our lunch and our medications and misc supplies like tape, cosmetics, craft and home supplies. We are moving into an age where there will be virtually no need for anybody to ever leave there homes unless its for recreation and visiting others. Garbage and trash disposal will be completely automated.
Everything we know in society and how we do things is about to change profoundly. The typical 8 hour day, the typical 5 day work week. The way we get paid and what we get paid with. What we do with our money or our value, how we get to work or from place to place, our cars will change and driving yourself will become rare, people will have no need for drivers licenses as most cars will drive by themselves. There will be no DMV. There will be no pharmacy or grocery store as you knew it before, when everything needed is brought you to almost immediately by drones, stores will be few and distribution centers more prevalent and be completely automated with no need for human work, outside of programmers checking up on and working from there homes or there hotel room while on vacation. There will no longer be a need for post office workers. There will be less need to no need soon for cashiers, waitresses, truck drivers, office assistants, telemarketers, fast food employees, travel agencies, dispatchers and taxi drivers, the weather man, cable television, news vendors, social media managers, manufacturing workers, farmers, printing stores and publishers, bank tellers, pilots, soldiers, accountants, tax payers, stock traders, construction workers, movie stars.
These things may be scary to many people out there, but they are indeed happening. Its very likely anyone reading this will wake up one day and everything said above will have come to pass. What do you think about the Digital Revolution.

Digital revolution or any kind of revolution isn't an instant thing.
It happens slowly. It is happening now. When someone looks back say for 10 years - only then you can see the shift.
