My post was and is about these Elsa from Frozen and Spiderman and Friends, Superhero videos that are plastered ALL over Youtube in the form of live action and animated cross-overs. They are a very strange series of short skits about Elsa and Spiderman being in love, Elsa being pregnant, superhero friends playing doctor with her and performing operations with large syringes and knives. Elsa is regularily pranked with killer bugs and piss in her pool and all the superhero friends, heroes and villains alike, are shitting, farting and vomiting in and around the toilet and pool and other 'fun kid' places including faces. There seems to be candy coming out of their asses and out of their C-sections, probably because they eat a lot of Kindereggs and M&M's for breakfast. I don't know if there's much more to these videos except maybe Elsa getting be-headed now and then, and sometimes getting attacked by venomous and parasitical bugs (who lay candy bug eggs). Other than Spiderman flirting with Supergirl there's not much to see here on Spiderman and Elsa videos.
I wanted to have a quick browse around other Elsa related kids programming/content to make sure that there really wasn't anything to see here. My search brought me to 'kid-friendly' stuff like SuperHero Freak Family where there's an 'Elsa Missing her Dress and Naked Spiderman' video along with an Elsa maggot infested body video, just to mix things up a bit and make it interesting and fun for the kiddies I guess. Make sure that you check out the popular title: Pregnant Mommy Wet Balloons Finger Family Learn Colors with SpiderGirl in the Bathtub Nursery Rhymes. What is a grown adult doing in a bathtub, dressed in a child's costume, playing with waterballoons that are suggestive of childbirth and pregnancy doing on a kid's show? Maybe these videos aren't meant for kids afterall because I certainly can't see any parent wanting their kids to learn sex education from these characters. They really seem to be playing with sexualized themes under the guise of nursery rhymes, pranks and 'fun'. Are your kids interested in getting drunk and injured, getting photographed by peeping toms, pregnancy, abortion and other fun stuff like swimming in pools of pee??? Well they've come to the right place with their ipad, all snuggly and comfy, with Spiderman, Elsa, Micky and Minnie and the rest of the YouTube Disney and Superhero gang.
We really need to wonder what is going on here. Is this a form of Monarch programming like some people would argue as in the Reddit screen capture that I added to this post? Are we seeing wolves in sheep's clothing as I suggested in my discarded blog? Is this some sort of grooming operation, some kind of disguised predatory assault on children, conditioning them for harm and abuse? I don't know and I am still questioning what I believe. What I do know and believe from watching these videos is that this kind of content is normalizing degrading behaviour. Humiliating and abusive behaviour such as feces-eating is just around the corner in these videos if it isn't already there. Are these mega-kids channels intended for a young audience or are they actually intended for a predatory audience? Do we want our kids to be confusing feces with candy, predators with Superheroes? I think you get the drift of this. When infantilization fantasies, poop-play, pregnancy fetishes and consumer porn become mainstream programming for children, I think we have a problem.I was up half the night last night thinking about my first post on Steemit. I was asking myself what I would write about, what I have to say, how I want to use this space??? Lots of questions, some ideas but nothing for certain. As usual I woke up sleepy and checked my twitter feed. I came across a tweet by @FaithGoldy about an issue called #Elsagate concerning some very questionable children's videos on Youtube. Well of course I spent all morning going down that rabbithole and consequently spent my entire afternoon writing about it on Steemit, I had stumbled across my first blog post. I wanted to add a few links to some of the channels in question so I started looking them up and watching them to see if my blog about it seemed accurate enough. At that point I really began questioning myself and whether or not I actually believed what I was writing. So I scrapped that post and started this one instead. It is evening now and my day has been consumed with this. I am tired from staying up all night thinking about my first blog post on Steemit, and I wonder if I'll actually end up posting this one either and if I'll be up all night again or not.
