Cannabis legalization continues to sweep across the United States. Twenty-nine states have legalized medical cannabis and recreational use is legal in Washington, Colorado, Oregon, Washington D.C., Alaska. Within the next couple of weeks, California will become the next state to officially begin legalized recreational cannabis.
According to New Frontier Data, legal cannabis sales shot up to $6.6 billion in 2016. By 2025, the market research firm is forecasting legal cannabis sales to reach $24 billion. The growing cannabis economy will continue to create jobs, wealth, and further economic growth.
However, there is still a stigma among some regarding the image of cannabis use. To be fair, not all cannabis use is about smoking and getting “high.” In fact, one of the greatest parts of the cannabis plant is Cannabidiol (CBD), a compound that does not produce the “high” that is associated with tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Researchers continue to develop definitive answers on the possibilities of CBDs, but consumers that utilize the therapeutic compound swear that it helps treat numerous ailments, such as: depression, anxiety, arthritis, diabetes, cancer, pulmonary issues, cognitive diseases, autoimmune, inflammation, aches, and more.
CBDs are extracted from a different part of the plant, known as hemp. Unlike marijuana, hemp does not need constant modification or breeding of flower strains. Hemp farmers for CBDs typically do not make any modifications to the plant, as it is unnecessary. Hemp is also widely used in a variety of alternative products, such as: food/nutrition, body care products, paper, fabrics, rope, clothing, fuel, plastic alternatives, building materials, and more.
CBD oil comes in a variety of forms: cream, salve, drop, spray, softgels, gel, vape, and more. This makes the product perfect for consumers who do not wish to smoke or inhale any substance, while still obtaining the benefits of the therapeutic compound.
While there are a variety of CBD companies and distributors out there, not all product is considered equal. CBD oil comes in a wide range of concentrations, but not all vendors are being truthful with the true content of their product. Bottom line, if the CBD vendor does not have lab-testing results proving the concentration is within the range that is advertised, then avoid.
Enter Canbiola. The company is among the most widely respected CBD companies in the world for their medical-grade and lab-tested products. Unlike other companies, Canbiola strives for consistency across its CBD products in order to provide the level of wellness that the consumer has ordered. The company utilizes CannaVest Laboratories for testing on every product that it sells; Certificates of Analysis are available upon request. This makes Canbiola a truly unique provider of CBD products.
