- Avoid trans fats, Get healthy fats
Unsaturated, polyunsaturated and saturated fats need to be part of our diet. However, trans fat is something that we should ignore in our dietary plan, trans fat is known to bring a stroke to a heart or could develop a heart disease over time. Trans fat increases the levels of Bad cholesterol levels (LDL) and decreases the level of good cholesterol level (LDL) which results in clogging arteries. Blood flow throughout the body is improved with ease if you simply cut off trans fat from your diet plan. These trans fat are industry produced and are basically mostly found in processed foods such as snacks, fried fast foods and baked. - Floss your teeth daily and take care of dental hygiene
It is often witnessed that those who have gum diseases are also found to have heart diseases, so in most cases, a good dental hygiene is indicated to have an overall good heart health. Studies have shown many cases, it is also found that a bacteria in the mouth which is caused due to gum disease could move into the bloodstream causing an elevation in C-reactive protein. This should be taken seriously and such cases could in-turn cause a heart stroke or heart diseases. - A good sleep is a must
Heart health is also greatly assessed by the quality of sleep. This has nothing to do with age or good health habits if you are not spending sufficient hours of sleep that your body needs then you are at greater risk of developing cardiovascular disease. A study showed that those who slept more than six hours a night were less likely to experience a stroke or heart attack compared to those who slept less than six hours. Researchers say that there are damages to health conditions if too little sleep is taken, which ultimately causes disruptions to heart health such as inflammation and unstable blood pressure. - Avoid sitting in one position for too long
No matter how much exercise you perform on daily basis, staying seated for too many hours is very harmful to health. Unfortunately, this may be a bad news for people who’s job are dependent on sitting in one position for all day. Results that consisted a combination of several observational studies that was conducted from a pool of 800,000 people, researchers had to say that people who had to be seated all day had 147 percent more chances of having cardiovascular diseases and these cases had increase death percentage due to these events. Deep vein thrombosis (blood clot) risk is increased if someone sits in one position for longer hours (especially during traveling).
