The global epidemic that is going on right now is bringing into the light the darkness of what the human species is made of. While some choose to hide in the comforts of denial, others rather go down the route of minimizing the risks of the virus. “It’s another political stunt.” “This too shall pass.”

In this time of crisis, ignorance is the antithesis of bliss.
Just like the rules of capitalism are to be suspended, it’s about time we suspend our selfish desire to do as we please while turning a blind eye to the well being of those around us.

More than ever do we need to come together as a collectivity and use that solidarity to help one another. Our character is being put to the test. For the first time, we can no longer use selfishness as a means to achieve our own ends. Sooner or later, the domino effect will be felt and our turn will come to face reality head on whether we want to or not.

You can’t manipulate the system no more. It is failing us all. There’s no easy way out of this. No quick fix 10 step recipe. The present moment is imposing all of its greatness on us. We’re all in the same boat. No matter who we are. No matter how much money sits in our bank account. Covid-19 doesn’t discriminate.
