"Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things."- Robert Brault
Each of us has, on a daily basis, little reason for joy; there are many pleasant activities we often do or loved people we embrace, but at the moment we do not realize how much we fill our energy. There are simple things, which for others may seem unimportant, but which make us "bloom" or stick a huge smile on our lips.
What if I meant them somewhere? We can say, for example, three joy a day to help keep the moments of happiness at low doses of optimism. I said 3 because it's a magical and story-telling figure, but it's not just three joy. There may be 4, 6, 13, 20 or one: an unexpected encounter with someone, a delicious lunch, the smile of an unknown, a nice street scene, a walk, something we've done and are proud of.
Marked at the end of each day, perhaps on a nice decorated calendar or in an agenda, and read for some time, the three joy will remind us of the things that merit us to be grateful, especially when we are with optimism reserves near zero.
Gratitude! I was having a stressful day because we were short staffed and it was very busy. I eventually convinced myself to be grateful the staff that was working went above and beyond to get through the day and as a business owner you should always be happy you have customers. By finding the joy in the moment, it changed my whole day.
