Paul McCartney's death: the Beatles' great joke or reality?
Many legends about rock myths and their (presumed) rock myths are often circulating.
Elvis would live under false identity in Hawaii... and Paul McCartney would be dead and be replaced by a double.
.... believe or don't believe it? I'm very sceptical about it usually, but after seeing some evidence about the Beatles... the doubts would come to anyone. What do you think about it?
Let's see more about this theory called "Paul is Dead" (abbreviated to "PiD")....
According to this theory, real Paul McCartney died in September 1966 in a car accident and was replaced by a double that, since then, has assumed his identity.
The first rumors about this substitution began to shoot in 1969 but until recently was considered an urban legend, something comparable to the theories about Elvis Presley or Jim Morrison, who would have staged their death and assume other identities to get out of the official scene and start a new life.
But In the case of PiD, however, we are faced with something totally different: here there isn't a celebrity officially dead and instead alive and well, but a replacement. And there are some evidence of morphological differences between Paul (the original) and Faul (contraction of "Fake Paul").
According to many, after the accident that cost Paul's life, the remaining 3 Beatles and their manager decided to replace McCartney with the one who had won the competition for his double, William Campbell Shears.
It was supposed to be for a short time, given the great success of that period, but since no one noticed the difference, they decided to continue.
However, over the years this substitute (on the right in the picture) has been analysed with the previous McCartney and there are some unmistakable differences.
The "Faul" William Campbell Shears was at least 5 cm higher than the previous one: Paul was exactly as tall as John, Faul is taller. Faul has a elongated facial shape, Paul has a more round one.
There are also a lot of differences, like the different distance between eyes. the conformation of the ear lobes, the teeth and also different voice (based on technical analyses of songs from before 1966 and subsequent years).
Other evidence about his dead can be found in the songs and on the disc covers. The Beatles, perhaps feeling guilty, or perhaps wanting to prepare fans for the bad news, would have scattered unequivocal clues that really make you think of Paul's death.
"Abbey road" cover is one of the most discussed. Watch it carefully and continue to read....

The first enigmatic element is the arrangement of the band members: the four walk one after the other, like a funeral procession. We can also note that Paul (second from left) is barefoot and is the only one to be. According to Eastern tradition, the deceased was represented barefoot.
In addition, Paul, on the cover, has a cigarette in his right hand when he was left-handed.
Further back, parked on the left, there is a car, a Beetle with a particular plate, whose last figures are 28IF: Paul McCartney would have been 28 years old if he had been alive.
On the other side of the road, there is a small police van, used at the time to make surveys on the places of road accidents.
Then, on the cover of the album "Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band" there's a bass drum: f you put a mirror on the diameter of the case and reflect the upper part on the lower one, the words "I ONE IX HE DIED" appear, translating the Roman numerals "1ONE 9 HE DIED" that is "11 9 HIM DEAD". Eleven nine: according to American dating, November 9, date of presumed death.
Don't you believe it? Well, what is certain is that, after that fateful date, the band stops playing in concert, limits to a minimum the live appearances, the relationship between the members of the band cracks and, in particular, the relationship Lennon/McCartney begins to be increasingly tense.
There are many theories and clues, but is it really possible to find a double with a musical genius and good as the originale one?
Probably this is a brilliant joke brilliant joke of the 4 Beatles, which no one will ever discover....
But if you are agree with me.... well, welcome in "PiD".
