LOOKING BEYOND PEOPLE'S FLAWS.

in #life2 years ago

Everyone knows that humans are far from reaching a state that can be called "complete or perfect". This is because they are clearly full of flaws here and there, but at the same time there is something good about each of them. With this in mind, it is essential to learn to welcome others and to look beyond the shortcomings but rather focus more on their strengths. This is why people are built as complements and not as competitors.

For example, in a relationship, the expectation of perfection is the reason why you don't accept who you are. The truth is that if you have obvious flaws, how do you expect others to be perfect? When you learn to accept people as they are, lower your expectations of them.

Sometimes people may be inclined to insult you because of who they are, but this should not lead you to the conclusion that the person is totally bad. You don't have to expect people to meet your specific criteria. Of course, you yourself do not get all your needs. As long as someone makes progress and keeps improving their method, there is always a second chance.

Instead of wasting time looking for flaws in people, try to focus more on their positive sides and how to improve yourself. If you have always been able to spot everyone's flaws, you can feel very lonely at times because you will clearly see the flaws in everyone, and therefore disassociate yourself from them.

There are ways to improve people without pointing out or focusing on their flaws. Strengthening people's flaws will make them think less of themselves and they may end up not making progress. But when you help someone exploit their strengths, they will eventually overcome their weaknesses.

The person you think is imperfect today may be the one who will show you salvation tomorrow. Remember that this, no matter how ugly a person is today, does not mean that this person is completely useless. The same people can overcome their shortcomings and make an impact tomorrow.

Many people have gone beyond their limits, opened new horizons, and found new paths and new paths. I once read an article on Ben Carson, world-famous pediatric neurosurgery. In elementary school, his performance was below average. Some educators even told him it was none of their business to ensure he learns.

However, while all this was happening, his mom found a way to correct his weaknesses and kept motivating her to get up and achieve something, and it was really worth it. Since his mother did not abandon him, he moved on to his broken college life and began to improve himself.

After several weeks of determined to improve, the quarterly results came in and he did an amazing job, even beyond his imagination. That's how he started his journey towards greatness and now he's gone where people thought he wasn't going.

All of this was only possible because his mother welcomed him as he is and focused on what he can do rather than what he cannot do. Always keep this in mind that Everyone has something to offer, as long as you can look beyond their flaws and focus on their strengths.
