Aloha one final time!
It also includes some great info on The Road to Hana!
Or my other two Hawaiian Posts:
Today I am going to share with you a bit of our time we spent in Lahaina!
Here are some pictures that I snapped along the way with a little story thrown in for fun!
“Lāhainā is the largest census-designated place (CDP) in West Maui.”
It also “was the capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii from 1820 to 1845”.
The city was a great place to go and we spent a good amount of time there visiting different shops, eating at multiple restaurants over the course of our trip, and taking in the great views that I am going to share with you today!

One evening we decided to try out Aloha Mixed Plate.

We had to park a short walk away and wait a bit for a table, but it was a great place to go!
The food was good and the views were fantastic!

As you can see by the smile of my wife’s face, we had a great time!
Then after dinner we took in a beautiful sunset!

One day we spent time at Whalers Village and another day we went to The Outlets of Maui.

We of course stopped by the banyan tree in Courthouse Square which “is the largest banyan tree in the United States.”

Right next to the Courthouse was also the Old Lahaina Fort Walls made of Coral!

After all that walking and sightseeing we were hungry and so we decided to grab a bite to eat at Down the Hatch.

I had the amazing Sampler Platter that had Lava Shrimp, Kalua Pig Quesadilla, and delicious Crispy Calamari!
Needless to say, it was fantastic!
After that we took a short walk back to The Outlets of Maui where we took in a free Hula Show.

My wife shares more informatioin and fantastic pictures of the Hula Show in her post: My New Take on the Hawaiian Culture!
After the show, we went walking the sea side again and took in the sights as the night drew near.

As we walked around I noticed they had some fun and unique store front signs and so I snapped shots of them as we walked.

They say Maui is the best and I agree. I've spent a couple weeks there and I can't believe it's a US state. Thank you for the long time support my friend. Steem On!
Maui was great and we had to keep reminding ourselves of that fact, that yes this is part of the US, during our trip.
Take care!
