Unfortunately if we want to live in society we have to play by society’s rules and if you don’t own your own business you must work in one for someone else. I see a lot of unhappy people slaves to the dollar for different reasons, most just making enough for bills and mortgage or rent. Step back and it’s easy to see we are pawns in an orchestrated play. I think we’re wising up to this and platforms like Steemit are only going to become more popular. You’re right, it is wise to be diverse in areas of income.
