Hi Steemit Friends,
Life’s hectic these days and the need to organize your personal and work life is more real than ever. You’ll obviously want to look for easy ways to keep yourself organized, especially if you’re a bit messy – like the rest of us for that matter. Here are a few tips to help you boost your productivity, get things done faster and easier, and declutter your life. We’ll turn you into a neat person in no time!.
Choose the Perfect Time
Some people are early birds, some are night owls. Examine when you’re most active and eager to get things done. This is the most important step because it’s easy to abandon your tasks and chores when laziness kicks in.
Write Everything Down
Trust us, even If you have a memory like an elephant, you may still forget a few important things you should be doing. But let’s face it – we all have a tough time remembering things. Use your notebook, personal computer, your smartphone or whatever else you prefer. Keeping a to-do list means you’re always up to date on what you have to do, what you successfully completed and – most importantly – it also allows you prioritize your tasks.
Set Deadlines and Goals
OK, so now that you know how essential it is to have everything written down, it’s time to figure out a way to stop wasting time. It’s true that in this day and age we’re left with little time for ourselves, but if we’re really true to ourselves, we’d also find that we still put off tasks and chores because we just don’t feel like doing them. Consequently, make deadlines for everything and set a few goals. That’s yet another way to stay organized, but you must also stick to them!
Learn to Let Go
Here’s the reality – those living an organized life only keep what they need. Having fewer things means less clutter. You’ll also appreciate what you have more while keeping your home or office tidy. This is where that list we talked about earlier comes in handy yet again. Write down what you truly need, then write down what you own. If you’re like the rest of us, you’ll find that the number of things you own far exceeds the ideal need list. Do yourself a favor and learn to just let go of stuff that do nothing but clutter your life.
Think of Your Future Self
When trying to be organized, it’s always a good idea to use a two-person mindset. This means thing into consideration both your present and future self. When you find yourself in doubt as to what your next move should be, think of what your future self will feel about the decision you’re making right now. Figuring ways to keep your future self satisfied will act as motivation to be proactive.
Try Feng Shui
Not everyone believes that balancing elements of the home or office leads to an overall balance in our lives, but it is still worth a try. Many people swear by this popular Chinese philosophy. According to the laws of Feng Shui, when the environment surrounding you is in harmony, it will also put you in harmony as well. Balance the items in your home and you’ll see how it becomes easier to feel at peace in the new space you’ve created.
The Bottom Line
Organizing your life, home, and office is no easy task. The reality is you need to maintain your motivation and put in a little effort. However, with hard work also comes a clutter-free space for you to enjoy at all times.
I hope You enjoy this post guys
I always deeply appreciate your comments, upvotes and share.
Much Love, Suzana
I need to bookmark this, thanks for posting, life had indeed been too hectic lately. But my bigger problem is motivation. There are days when I lack the motivation to do anything.
Btw I am an amateur writer, just started with the writing and I like to write about life and sometimes philosophy but I don't get too much feedback on my writings. I was wondering if someone experienced like you could give it a read and leave a comment. It would help me a lot. I hope I'm not being a jerk by commenting this.
Thank you for you comment !! Keep up on what you are doing !! Stay strong and motivated.

It’s a rare person among us who doesn’t feel the need to get more organized. I consider myself fairly organized, for example, but there are times when I get a little lax about my organizational rules, and there’s always room for improvement.
yes, i see myself more productive once i am organized... No excessive worries about other things makes you enable to focus on the importance.

How about for a person who has no time left to clean. ? Because some people just burn most of their energy at work then go home and the only thing they need is enough sleep.
For me its way easy to read and think but very hard to apply in my real life :(
Good information
so true...
Being organized is link to being successful

Great post! I think the timing thing is very important :P sometimes I just feel like bumming around!
Thanks for posting it here! Great post. I agree, that life is really hard to organize nowadays - especially when you want to separate work from real life. I guess it was easier before, mostly because personal life and work just went along and you didn't really have much impact to change it, when now you shall divide both.
i do totaly agree in some points, i only do not want to declutter what i do not consider as clutter :-) here we play loads of games and my grown up kids are every night with their friends playing games, so i have all the games in my cupboard, and in front of that the little things i like :) some find it clutter some come in and say oh wow so causy, it depends, i love it ... But i may not have a mess, i want my pillows in order , my things have to stand where i left them, i do not want glasses on cupboards and stuf like that. It is a organized clutter if that excist. At my door you find a little plate where is written on : COME IN SIT DOWN RELAX CONVERSE OUR HOUSE DOES NOT ALWAYS LOOK LIKE THIS IT SOME TIME IS EVEN WORSE.... upvoted your blog because it is good to be read by many.
I'm going to working on this right now!

Thank you for sharing the helpful tips. "Choose the Perfect Time" is my favorite. Aligning one's efforts with their own circadian rhythm will yield positive results!

I used to be a night owl until I got my dog.
Now I sleep way earlier, wake up way earlier just to walk it.
I definitely think different people different timings.
