With the introduction of ecommerce websites like amazon, ebay etc things took a huge turn as now people were able to buy anything through these online stores and have their products delivered to their homes in a few days.
Some time ago these ecommerce giants introduced fast delivery systems where you(if you are living in a major city or near the store) could get your products delivered within hours.
Amazon has its Amazon Prime service where the buyers get their products delivered within 2 hours. I believe if we go to the market to buy some products, it takes more than 2 hours.
Delivery system was never the same few years ago as it took more than 10-15 days for these online sellers to deliver the products to their buyers.
Amazon has been leading the online shopping industry from the start and continues to do so and this only attracts new customers towards them.
Two years ago Amazon announced drone delivery system, which intends to make delivery more faster than before.

They are still in the process to set it up but once it is made available it will be a revolution in this field.
You could see your products delivered within 30 minutes of time or maybe even less than that. Now compare that to time which you spend when you buy the same product in the market nearby!
We are living in the golden age of technology and who knows what future holds!

I learned about Amazon's interest in having drone delivery systems about 2years. I was very interested in the development. I don't know how much they have gone with their plans but because I haven't really check on their progress. It will disrupt the industry when it is finally launch.

Thats true.....technology is changing very rapidly. Delivery by drone would be something...i would love to see for my order. Lets see when this happen for my order.

Sure it would as long as your balcony is on the map. It's simple, it's already employed for military purpose. But then the military only use it for few site delivery, it's easier than for public use. My interest is how they are going to handle security and the limit worth of goods they will carry. Because I'm afraid, flying a million dollar worth of necklace around isn't a good idea, some people are very skilled at shooting down flying objects without missing.
