The only person we spend 24 hours a day is ourselves. Even if we spend a lot of time with people, friends, acquaintances, there is time when we are alone that we cannot avoid. Yet many are afraid to be alone with themselves. Fear of solitude is present in men, women, but also in children. Many of us avoid being alone so much, that they will do anything to stop it, even if they endanger their physical or mental health.
The fear of solitude can be a haunting thing, even when you are in a relationship it can still be present. Mixed with anxiety, it can create an unpleasant feeling of despair. People manifest the fear of solitude through different shapes, jumping from relationship to relationship, sitting on endless coffees during daytime with friends to avoid being alone at home, serial cheating, etc.
In our culture, most people do not spend time with themselves in peace and quiet. There is always someone here somewhere, there is always something to do, and we are actually getting away from ourselves. Perhaps this is not always the case, but the conclusion is that no one wants to be alone with himself.
Make the time play for you. Don’t fall in despair, instead use time as your weapon to do things which fulfill you. Be patient, do not agree on relationships that are far below your criteria just to overcome your sense of solitude shortly and also be prepared to leave the relationship that does not work. Don’t spend your life thinking about how lonely and unhappy you are, but how to be comfortable with yourself. Don’t let your luck depend on someone else, your happiness depends only on you.
Emergency “to do” list when you feel lonely:
• Call a close person
• Engage in hobbies
• Pronounce positive affirmations
• Watch a good movie
• Read a book
• Go for a walk

In my opinion, it is important for everybody to have time for itself. It important because it gives us the ability to communicate with the God through the pray, hear our inner soul, feel our selves, have time to reorganize our goals and make plans for our future.
So, my steemit friends do not be afraid to spend some time with your self, you will find a lot of benefits from it.
Well said. Being alone has it's benefits. Sometimes I just enjoy the silence or daydream about something. Everyone should have at least 30 mins in his day to rest and use the time for himself.
