The way of life of local fishermen in Thailand is interesting and they have amazing coastal communities.
They use small boats (long-tailed boats or fishing boats of not over 10 gross tons) to fish in coastal areas that are not too far from shore. They catch fish in coastal areas which are for their household consumption and to sell for their additional income.
In addition to being an important source of food and income, local fishermen also play an important role in the conservation of marine resources through their environmentally friendly fishing methods; i.e. they use traditional and not-destructive fishing tools, such as fishing nets, etc.
The atmosphere is really nice and the view is picturesque with a lot of the fishermen’s boats parking along both sides of the canal.
The fishermen's lifestyles and wisdom always attract me.

These boats are traditional fishing boats and they are fascinating indeed. Good question! I couldn't buy any fish from them as they normally sell fish directly to the restaurants nearby.
