I was uploading daily exclusive videos to DTube and then stopped when having troubles uploading in Thailand. I was able to gain a nice routine reward from sharing my daily experience. I always had one tiny fear- our just awareness. That my only rewards, less a few cents, came entirely from DTube upvotes.
If 40 people upvoted on some of my videos, it would result to maybe 15 cents at most, once finally converted to USD (I haven't sold any of my SBD or STEEM that I've earned by the way). I researched around the site and noticed some people would have over 100 upvotes but only received a reward primarily from the DTube like.
My question or thoughts are now, on Steemit- how does one build that audience to where the reward is reasonable for the effort. I know many create because they love to create- and this does fit me, but I can't help but noticing this curious reward system and having question.
On Steemit, it seems I no longer get DTube likes, so virtually, I no longer get rewarded. I'm just looking to see if anyone has thoughts on if this evens out at some point- it feels as if without DTube upvotes it would take hundreds or thousands of upvotes to get even towards
All we can do to help eachother grow is upvote, comment, and resteem! I hooked you up my man!! You're one of the few I really enjoy watching. Do you have a youtube channel?
Thanks for the comment- yes it seems that’s the best strategy to keep making content and trust the process, on any platform.
And thank you, I’m making quite the effort on YouTube right now
Here’s my YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/c/taylorgreenvlogs
I think it just depends man. I dont think anyone really gets rewarded very well for creating unless their buying votes. Dtube is still so early in development still. Keep making videos man. Trust the process.
