Thinking of making a positive change in your life using meditation, diet, fitness, or finances? Do it already! But use your heart.
Stop wondering with your mind whether to do it now or later. Start listening and obeying your hearts orders. It knows the drill.
The difference between our heart and mind:
Our heart knows what's right and wrong and tells us in the form of feelings. Good feelings = we're on track. It's infinite in nature and can see into the future. When we do the right thing, we feel good, and we remain safe.
Our physical mind is blind. It's working only with what we've fed it in the past. It's limited in scope and should not be used for making major decisions (we gotta use our heart for that). Our physical minds are burdened by the past and are therefore extremely habit driven. Not ideal for making life changes.
Let me tell you something: You won't be ANYMORE ready in a week from now than you are right now. I guarantee it. You might be a bit richer from Steemit.com, sure, but don't let that distract you.
Pull up your pants and do what you wanna do now. Sitting around like a lost baby looking for his mommy's permission and putting what you want off for another day is EXACTLY what you've been doing for the last 365 days. You already have your hearts permission.
Make the change in your life now! Since you've been acting like one for so long, it's wise to take baby steps towards a new you. Be easy on yourself and make small changes, but do so quickly! Don't put em off.
I mean, c'mon bro, who and what r u waiting for? The Government? LOL. You'll do nothing by waiting. NOTHING BUT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME ON THIS BEAUTIFUL EARTH.
Let's say you wanna improve your diet...
Those dead animals that you have in the fridge? Throw those beautiful dead bodies in the garbage now or dig a hole outside for them. They don't belong in you, on your plate or in your fridge. Be kind to yourself (and the animals), c'mon man.
Look at all the vegan celebs these days. Thousands of em. They know what's right - and so do you.
Start treating yourself right with plant based foods that taste great and that keep you healthy. Feels so good to be healthy.
Focus on the fruit!!! Mangoes, papayas, bananas, avocados, dates, raisins, peaches, plums, nectarines, cherries, you name it!
Once you make one small change in your diet, like eating a high fruit vegan diet, what happens?
Domino effect.
You start making changes like crazy in other areas of your life too - without even realizing it - until one day you wake up and find yourself living a goooood life.
You realize that the next evolution in your life is an inward revolution. Requires mastery of your focus on an ongoing basis.
No more garbage content. Only good stuff from YouTube, SoundCloud, PodCasts, Mp3's, etc. Load up on self improvement content.
And realize too that nobody's life is better than yours. Not even the person giving the advice. We all have problems.
Just remember that the grass is ALWAYS going to be greener, no matter how big your house, dick, or stack of cryptocash is.
So learn to love what you have regardless! I mean it!
Others can inspire us, sure. But don't become envious or jelous of others successes. That'll just make you feel like a worthless punk who's no-damn-good... which you're definitely not!!
Just stop right where you are. Breathe in deeply, and then begin right now to do the most exciting thing you know how to do.
Follow that excitement as far as u can without any expectation of the outcome and then when you can take it no further, look around you, and do the most next exciting thing. THIS IS HOW YOU GET INTO FLOW STATES OFTEN!
Your life isn't meant to be hard. Not mean to be swum upstream. It's meant to be in a flow state as much as possible. Is flow always easy? YES! Is it hard to get into flow? YES - but if you forget how... So REMEMBER to do what feels good as often as you can.
Now go make that inward revolution with some meditation. I suggest the Headspace app for those new to meditation.

Look who's here, Mr Carr himself : D I've followed you on YT for years! Where's the rest of the Hawai gang? Everyone should be joining the steemit train. It's way more profitable for good content makers than YoutTube. And has NO ADS! What a fun place to be.
You are absolutely right, Steemit is the place to be right now!
We should start commenting and persuading the amazing Youtube community to come over to Steemit
Just wanna let you know man, you are part of the reason for me to start vlogging and sharing to the world. Keep up the good work.
Same here, love this guy. Overflowing with inspiration!
Great tip, @tedcarr.
"Follow that excitement as far as u can without any expectation of the outcome and then when you can take it no further, look around you, and do the most next exciting thing. THIS IS HOW YOU GET INTO FLOW STATES OFTEN!'
I'm on it. Thanks.
Peace and love.
Followed and upvoted, naturally.
Hi I love the fruitarian diet, tried it in the past for like a week lol, i had so much energy that week and i was happy, i'm planning to go back to it again, i guess i judt have to start again ! :)
Get on the fruitwagon!!!! Eat ripe from the vine, life is devine!
ahaha, nice one :)
Fantastic content in this post!
Ted, I'm a vegan who's looking to gain weight do you have any tips?
Maybe you could write a post on this topic from your frutarian perspective.
Eating healthy is the way to go keep up the good work I hope you make your goal. You have my up vote @mannyfig1956
Perhaps the total difference between the heart and the mind is love. The heart understands, experiences and thrives on love while the brain does not comprehend, feel or experience it. And yet man has always resided in his brain as far as could be remembered. And so it is too that man's history is fraught with violence, pain and suffering. Is it not time, perhaps to transfer the pilot house of our life from the brain to the heart?
I love that picture of your dinner, new people to this, including myself, may not be aware of how much fruit you have to eat to keep on some pounds. Ted has a developed his super stretchy monkey belly, my next goal to achieve.
Great post.
This would let one live a positive life. Too much junk in the system is not needed. It will only cause harm to the body.
Thanks @tedcarr
Good on you..nice post
Indeed positive things lead to more positive in your life. Contentment is good and self-improvement is also beneficial. Just had some watermelon. Would have saved some for you however it looks like you are doing well. Thanks for sharing. Blessings - Troy
I will have to give headspace a try. Keep it up man, your making a difference in the world one post at a time!
This is an amazing post my friend.. One should always do everything from the heart so he mentally aligns to the thing he is doing.
Most people force themselves to do things.
Cheers and much love :)
Goldie
Very good post :)
You look ready to eat the fruit plate.
Reading your post, this quote by Ernest Hemingway rings true "“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”
The picture of you with the pineapple and watermelon is putting such an big smile on my face.
This is what my ideal breakfast looks like. I always break my fast with a big fruit session and stay raw for half of the day. My final big meal is usually cooked, mostly because it takes too much time for me to get in all the calories eating raw.
I am planning to go raw when I'm able to leave this office life behind me. Hopefully Steemit will be a part of that transition.
Thanks @tedcarr!! may everyone listen to these wise advices... and may the flow of life carry us through the shining sun of our destiny.. peace
This an invite to look at my post "Update on the Human Heart." We treat on very much the same topic. My warmest regard,
