RE: Gratitude is a virtue

in #life7 years ago

I feel grateful for what i have now, i have friends, i have support, i'm doing better in college, i'm being more social and i'm much more confident, i feel grateful for all of these! Still... i want more... no, i don't want life to just hand what i want to me, i want to work for it, i want to achieve it! yes, i might never be able to be rich, or to get a big farm with a pool and many animals, but i'll surely work for it, and if my future son/ daughter happens to want the same things i do at least he will have a headstart.
Yes, i know i'm talking about materialistc possesion, but the only reason i'm talking about materialistic possessions is because i'm very happy in the social department, only thing i don't have atm which i could have is a gf, but it's just because i haven't found any that i actually liked enough

That's great @teutonium! Wanting more is healthy enough to be thinking about. The problem lies in not being satisfied and not taking in any consideration what you already have. Self evolution requires dreams and aspirations!
Regarding the gf, it's better not to compromise as you said and the best are yet to come! :)
