WHAT IS PARENTAL CARE?
Parental care can be seen as the act of nurturing a child. It is that unconditional care of a parent from the time a child is born up to the time the child grows up.
It can also be seen as any behaviour pattern in which a parent invests time or energy in feeding and protecting its offspring.
Parental care is all about interest,care, dedication and love. I think parental care cannot be measured. It is so fundamental that any parent should allow himself/herself be that nurturing parent that a child needs.
BELOW ARE SOME OF OUR PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

1. Discipline your child: it should be our sole aim to discipline our children. This aspect is needed and it cant be over emphasized
2. Protect and maintain your child. It should be our responsibility to protect our child. Develop your time to maintain your and always be there for your child. Remember caring is loving.

3. Provide education for your child: Make sure this aspect is not done away with. Education is power.
4. Name your child: choose a good name for your child, it helps in diverse form.

5. Get to know your child: you should learn to spend quality time together. Always communicate it helps alot.
7. Develop mutual respect for hour child: learn to respect his or her feelings, use appropraite words, also respect his/her opinion, privacy and individuality.
8. Teach your child morals and value like generosity, honesty, respect, patience, forgiveness and respect.

9. Provide your child with self esteem need like encouraging proper hygiene. Accept your child's uniqueness and respect his or her individuality.
Notice and acknowledge your child's achievements and pro-social behavior.

10. Take responsibility for your child’s property
11. Provide an environment that is SAFE: keep your child free from sexual, physical and emotional abuse.
12. Support your child financially.
summary
parental care is one unique thing we just cant leave aside. The Bible says train up your child in the way he should go so that when he is old, he wont deviate from it. If we know all this, we should always take it as a measure upon us the parent to breed our children in the right direction. Remember the popular saying, CHILDREN ARE THE LEADERS OR TOMORROW. The way you groom your child that is the way or channel he or she will eventually follows.
so PARENTS TRAIN YOUR CHILD IN THE RIGHT WAY, SO PEOPLE CAN USE HIM/HER TO REFERENCE YOU
Finally, we parent, should not leave the responsibility of grooming a child for one party alone i.e the mother should not say this is the responsibility of the father neither the father also. If you have such mindset it will affect your children positively. We should learn to share responsibility equally and also share blames when carrying such task
