Every new technology is a double edged sword. There is certainly the potential for abuse, and people are going to be skeptical because they have connected microchips to something in a book written thousands of years ago by men who couldn't possibly have seen this coming, but I'm all for it!
RFID tags are a way to make life a lot simpler for a lot of people. Medical records can now be kept with a person at all times. In case of an emergency, a doctor or EMT could quickly assess a patient and make snap decisions that could save lives, and that's just one of the MANY applications!
