I am impressed...the quality and clarity, i guess what you said about the amazing bells and whistles on even cheaper cameras, is forcing photographers to find more creative distinction. Greater technology pushes the mind to greater creative ways to tweak it to one's own style.
Thats what I see in most of these shots...its not that your taking a photo, its the how and the way you shoot it, the eye is the first lense;)
