This may be the reason you make no money on steemit.

You may be wondering why you do not really make any money on Steemit even though you work really hard and do your best to create good content.
Sometimes you even make something that is very good but no, you still get close to nothing.
Well, there is a reason for it but your probably not going to like the answer very much.
You no doubt hear that you just have to create something that has "good content" but even when you do those elusive dollars still seem to be just a fantasy. Time and time again you try but still no joy.

You see there is a very good reason for it, it's just that the truth is kept from you.

I have been on Steemit for some time now and came to the conclusion that there must be a reason that the vast majority of people posting never make more than a few cents. However, it eluded me.

Then out of the blue, I was sent an email explaining to me that the majority of people on steemit would never make any money at all and the reason for it had absolutely nothing to do with your content.

Now, the email came from an unknown person to me, going by the name "John Smith" which I thought was very funny. I am by no means a tech savvy kind of guy, but I did all I could to verify this strange email, but no such luck.

So, I thought I would tell whoever does see this post and see what you all think.
I personally feel that the probability of the email being correct is very high.

This is how the email went.

Graham, I have watched your videos on steemit and have enjoyed them mostly and I feel that you're a decent fellow and that you really are doing your best to make some money. It's clear to me that you really are struggling to make ends meet. I suffer from a similar injury to you and I am quite simply amazed at the amount of effort you put into all the work you do in your life and family. The back injury we both suffer is quite demoralising at the best of times and the fact that you work so hard and raise a family as well as do all this posting makes me feel desperately sorry for you. I take my hat off to you sir.

I felt obligated to tell you that there is a very well hidden secret about Steemit that you deserved to know.

Steemit posting was created to promote the SBD and the very early members had a very large advantage over the majority of those who followed. The platform required a small group of people that did make good money to cover the fact that the vast majority would never make anything. That small group was needed to give the impresion that it was actually possible to make money, when in fact it is not, however that small group would naturally continue promoting the original propaganda generated at the begining as this small group would not only continue to generate money for any rubish they posted but also become addicted to the power they wield over the so called minnows. Occasionally there are new people "permitted" to climb the ladder so it gives the impression that it's still posable to make big dollars.

The point of the platform is simply to advertise the SBD and have people buy the currency on the open market, like bitcoin. The user of the platform is constantly bombarded with the idea that attaining the SBD is the best thing to do because so many people are making money( the small group ) that you would be a fool to miss out, so create good content and you will be rewarded. Often the members of this small group will give a creator a well sized upvote and hook the person to the platform. By the time a post creator realises they are not going to make any money from there post, they are convinced its not the platform that is the problem, rather it's their lack of talent, however they have been indoctrinated to believe that cryptocurrencies are the future and as SBD is the one they primarily know thats the one they buy on the open market.

The platform is nothing more than an interactive advertisement. It's not about you the creator making money or even the distribution of a currency, it's about increasing the number of people trading the SBD in the open market.

Regards
John Smith
