It Is Never Enough

Often times, I have often wondered how life works; we seem to be on a default mode all through our lives.

Majority of humans tend to drive through life with a purpose - one purpose - making money. It becomes somewhat a routine, especially as an adult. Everything around points to one a single factor - you either have money, plenty of it or you are irrelevant. Humans have come to judge a successful person by the amount of riches he/she has.

They always say life is in phases; at a certain point you never have to worry about anything and everything. A child only cares about food and toys. Give him/her these two things and you have peace. Deny this child and there is Armageddon.

One thing is certain though, food becomes a lesser priority as maturity beckons. The need to be relevant becomes the task. However, most people always deviate from the right path of being relevant that they begin to chase money.

I dare say, "It is never enough".

We are going to get to the breaking point to the extent that having money will become meaningless. It is at this point we begin to seek what money cannot buy.

When people ask me questions as to what I seek in life, I basically tell them with resounding happiness, a single word, "FULFILLMENT". I have to discover that only a very few understand the true depth behind my answer but I worry not.

Jack Ma recently referred to his $12/month earning days as a teacher as the best life he ever had.

I like to see such statement not as a reason to be docile or aim for little in life but instead as a way to indeed confirm that sometimes only the little things matter in life.

I will end by saying this; seek fulfillment and find contentment. Dream Big! Aim high that you begin to get scared of yourself and always remember that money is never enough.
