@kayleigh-alesta Thanks for sharing. I am new to the community but very happy that I joined as I see efforts of support between members. Steemit can be overwhelming and even disheartening sometimes for new users. I embarked on a mission to help minnows by sharing the SBD I gain from votes. I look at the numbers I am making and feel very discouraged, as I feel I am not helping at all. Neither I have the power/money, nor I am making any progress. I guess I was hoping that a whale or a dolphin will notice these efforts and participate with a vote from time to time to increase the income that I can share. Having a community to support is a wonderful way to make us continue our aspirations despite the difficulties. Truly many thanks to @nicnicy, you and everyone @minnowsfaucet. Love :)

Hi @theleapingkoala...it's okay we have all felt that way but after being here my first month I realized it's not about the money...it is about showing people who YOU are...what are your talents..thoughts ..ideas..personality :) :) you make real relationships...you check in on one another...you put your best foot forward in your writing or art or music or whatever you are showing the world. The quality of what you share...the people that you make friendships with will pay attention and honestly ...I've seen it myself when people make money...minnows or dolphins I mean...is random...and it's a high and exciting but never expect it ...enjoy steemit for friends and social factors ..if you make some money later then BONUS:) :) you're gonna be alright my friend we will grow together...You are NOT alone :) :)
