I work in street and area lighting and you have no idea how bad it is getting. We recently finished replacing all the LPS fixture on the Big Island with FLEDs to protect the night sky (filtered LEDs). Unfortunately, dark sky communities on the mainland didn't follow.

This is a set of before and after images we had taken from a helicopter over Waikoloa Village in Hawaii. Reduced the power consumption by 60%, reduced the uplight by 80% and increased illuminance on the roadway by 50%. We also had aerial scans done support the findings.
