Even with a little bit of water at the bottom, one could still get their mouth wet; sounds small, but not to someone with a dry throat. The internal now is forever fleeting. Some aspire to catch it; some want to be as far from it as possible. I looked at the multiple choices, busted out my pen and wrote "Surf it" - I surf the now.
All we have is now and what is in front of us. Negativity, while a good roadmap should never be the conclusion. The house is on fire, there is a fucking window... but it's a far drop, well there are some fucking bushes... but there are alligators on the ground, good I love a challenge.
There should never be a circumstance where it concludes with negativity. Concluding means what you end on; the end is a focal point from all your experiences, the end is now & is continuously ending. We can re-write our endings anytime, maybe not the way we want, but life has a way of balancing out via inadvertent ripples we leave in this ocean of life.
Turn off the lights; you lose your sight. Interesting, I wonder what other "lights" aren't turned on? I'd wager infinite. I know very little, so I leave my mind open to new possibilities.
I've seen David overcome Goliath. I've seen people overcome cancer. I've seen a single sick leaf turn into a giant oak. I've seen peasants turned to kings.
I will forever have the fire inside; when I'm done the flame won't be, it will spread to those that hodl the torch inside. Many have the torches but need a spark. Fire is created, BAM! Sparked into existence, but like a spark with no wick, the torch needs a spark to complete itself.
Create your spark! Hone yourself into a weapon. Don't listen to what is the loudest that is usually crap. Dig for the information, find the quality under rocks and through every rough experience you've ever had — a useless dull blade needs but effort to become sharp and useful once more.
The act of positivity isn't to dismiss the existence of evil; it's to remain confident in the face of it all. You LIVE overcoming EVIL. As above so below.
I hope steem one day allows me the financial freedom to walk out of work... today was fucking bullshit... makes me upset I am financially enslaved to work... but I will get out of this
Those lines sounded so powerful to my hearing. We all have the igniting ability in us if only we stretch a little further. We can best motivate ourselves if we so will. We can gather as much knowledge as we can if we will hunger for it enough.
Thanks @THeycallmedan!
Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
... not many people make use of that phrase....
One of the fundamental principles of the universe
One of my favorite human being who has ever lived. Love that your shared this @smasssh
Bought 6 audio tapes some 25 years ago of Jim Rohn of a seminar he did back then in Anaheim, California. Awesome seminar. Played them most time in my car (as he said: 'make your car a mobile classroom').
Kept the tapes as a souvenir. Nowadays I still watch videos of him on youtube every now and then. Inspiring person he was, very inspiring.
I listen to those audiobooks all the time! I know the exact quote you are talking about.
He really helped to change my life, helped me realize the “problem” wasn’t out there but it was with me.
Just a short clip of that seminar I talked about.
Only the brave can understand this!
you are right brother.

Because life is like a comma, where you are only given a little chance then continue again what you start.
Because life is not like a point, where only the death stops what you have started and what you have lived.
Nice and very deep meaningfull sir @theycallmedan
That's really good thinking sir.
What a great post - yes, we all need to be reminded to dwell on solutions rather than the problems - not always easy at first, but in time it gets better.
I woke up this morning to find that someone had stolen the flap on my petrol cap.
My car is a reno clio and is my pride and joy and when I saw this I was so angry - they obviously were not after my petrol as they had removed the flap carefully so nothing was broken.
Anyway, after I had calmed down, I told myself it could have been worse and so I must be grateful for that and I can search for a second hand one.
Kinda inspiring lol

How about a realistic view on what is going on? Always optimism, not able or willing to see what is going on, close your eyes for it, can be killing.

Duality effect and every situation and aspect covers with the energy of positive and negative and it's just point of Perceptionwhich will going to play the game changing role. Being positive despite the noise can be overwhelming but that is the challenge isn’t it
Staying focused, being present
Awesome! Im motivated by it so much.
The only way to test a person's faith is when faced with adversity, we are on it now, If we survive this drought then I would say we can survive the rest of the challenges that will be thrown at us.
Glass is always full. Anything else is (just) a (different) perspective.
halff water half air ^^ full of wisdom
Make the happy ending in your mind, and make sure every day you work to get closer to it.

I love your attitude on life brother. Just got finished watching your "My Life" part 1 and 2. Your words resonated with me, I thank you for being open about your journey and being a motivating influence.
Finding some inspiration here. Thanks for sharing.

we will only succeed in the things where we think positive. our way of seeing things, is what will determine how far we can go
Glass half full let's fill it up and drink it. :)
great message to start the work week.
appreciate it!

You have a way of keeping people on their feet, with your inspiring words really expecially in your videos man, keep up buddy
For the most part I try to see the positive in every negative situation. It takes patience and fortitude to think that way. I admit at times it can be difficult, life comes at you real and fast. Like for instance this market, yeah its down and shitty. But! We have a chance to accumulate the coins that we believe in for dirt cheap. Thanks for the motivation as always. Blessings unto you Dan.

“There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: this glass is half full. And then there are those who say: this glass is half empty.
The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass! Who's been pinching my beer?
And at the other end of the bar the world is full of the other type of person, who has a broken glass, or a glass that has been carelessly knocked over (usually by one of the people calling for a larger glass) or who had no glass at all, because he was at the back of the crowd and had failed to catch the barman's eye. ”
― Terry Pratchett, The Truth
Great sentiment!
Some folks dwell on the futility of being constructive and positive while the world is full of arseholes only in it for themselves.
Perhaps this is contributing to their depression when they could be inspired by overcoming the evil that is everywhere!

Absolutely! I enjoyed your message.

I like what you say "We can re-write our endings anytime,"
End happens when we want it to, so it is entirely upto us when we give up or we keep moving ahead. Possibilities are limitless, if we broaden our horizon we can tap into those possibilities else we can always remain shut brooding and in a state of self pity.
Powerful words my friend! Negativity should not have space in our vocabulary as we emphasis the building aspect which should only add to the process and never subtract!

I read it like an expression that has broad meaning
I'm starting to think you're a reincarnated hero from an ancient civilization.
Yup. Getting stuck in excuses prevents people from finding solutions. That is for sure.
You win ? Great
You lose ? Great, you learn
See the glass half-full, but don't see it full when it's empty.
As within so without, as above so below.
I love that I can imagine hearing you say this- and that allows these words to soak into the neural network deeper. Thanks for sharing with the world. I'd certainly buy stock in you @theycallmedan
When we say glass half full and it has two things. One its full ofcourse as said and another is its half-empty and still have opportunities to be filled up.
